Welcome to Colorado Humanities Online Submission Manager.

We are excited to have you apply for the 2024 Motheread/Fatheread Institute! This 3-day training will prepare you for permanent certification in the Motheread/Fatheread curriculum, and facilitating parent-group cycles to support literacy engagement for families.

Training runs Tuesday through Thursday, June 25, 26, and 27, from 8:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. You must be present for the entire 3 days to receive the materials and certification.

You will be eligible for 20 hours in Colorado Shines PDIS (no charge) and 2 CEUs ($10) from the Red Rocks Community College Rocky Mountain Education Center.

A block of rooms have been reserved for June 24, 25, and 26, at the Holiday Inn Denver East, 3333 Quebec Street. Flat rates of $124 (1 King) or $134 (2 Queens) per night have been negotiated for your stay. No additional taxes will be applied. You are welcome to reserve a room with the hotel directly, under the block, or commute each day.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided on each training day, and for meals outside of training hours, a variety of options are nearby. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle within a 2.5 mile radius, as well as to and from the RTD station if you are using Denver International Airport.

The training and curriculum/facilitator's guide ($725 value) are provided by Colorado Humanities, and you will be responsible for travel cost and meals outside of the training hours.

If you will need financial assistance for lodging to attend the Institute, please mark that on your application. Colorado Humanities will work with your program.
